SPRING

Spring

Spring time, new growth, sowing seeds. Its been a cold slow start to spring... This year my husband is experimenting with even more varieties of seed, and we are looking forward to seeing the results. Can you identify all these seeds?! There may be some frost tender shoots that haven’t survived this slow start to spring, but the beauty of doing multi species paddocks is that something will grow... Trial and error, mix and match, some you win some you loose. This is nature. My sons love helping dad mix seed, and they have a strong understanding what importance seeds play in life even at a young age. If he finds a seed on the ground, my 3 year old puts it in his pocket and plants it in the garden later. We have random pea plants growing all sorts of places!!
